The Hardill family's tradition of community involvement began when Milford Hardill founded The Peterborough Kiwanis Music Festival in 1946 and established an annual student bursary, known as "The Founder's Award" a tradition that continues to this day.

Today, Commercial Press and Design is still an enthusiastic supporter of local businesses, cultural events and social organizations.
